INSIDE THE BAYLOR BEARS' CLASS
We could pretty much spend from now until tipoff of the 2016-17 season singing the praises of Kim Mulkey's class.
Let's start with Lauren Cox, a 6-foot-4 forward at Flower Mound (Texas), who became Baylor's first No. 1 prospect since Brittney Griner. Remember her? Cox, the Gatorade player of the year in Texas, a McDonald's All American and the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Player of the Year, averaged 21.8 points, 12.7 rebounds, 3.4 blocks and 2.2 assists as a senior.
But that is not all for Baylor.
Mulkey also got a signature from fellow Texas high school star and McDonald's All American Natalie Chou, the No. 8 prospect in the nation.
That high-powered duo joined Calveion Landrum, a Waco native and the No. 18 prospect, in Baylor's haul.
