Spain added another global title to its collection after beating defending champions North Korea to lift the FIFA U20 Women's World Cup in Poland on Sunday.
After the final remained goalless following extra time, Spain triumphed 4-3 in a penalty shootout thanks to two saves from goalkeeper Laia López.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino watched in Łódź, as López saved spot kicks from Choe Yon-a and Pak Il-Sim in the shootout.
"I think it's the happiest day of our lives," Spain defender Silvia Cristobal said. "We've dreamed of being here and lifting this long-awaited trophy since we were little."
The final was a meeting of the last two winners of the competition, with Spain winning the title for the first time in 2022 before North Korea took the crown for a third time two years ago.
The contest also featured a number of players who took part in the 2024 U17 Women's World Cup final, when North Korea beat Spain on penalties.
Sunday's result continued Spain's recent domination of the women's game. The country has won two U17 World Cups, two U20 World Cups and the senior World Cup title in the past decade.
That success has been mirrored on the men's side, with Luis de la Fuente's team the current world and European champions.
North Korea relinquished the title despite becoming the first team not to concede a single goal during a U20 Women's World Cup.
"All of our players were crying and that really broke my heart. So I tried to comfort them," North Korea coach Han Chol-Hak said. "And as the head coach, I think that they all did their best. So I'm very proud of them."
