Cameron Brink, a 6-foot-4 forward and the No. 2 prospect in the espnW HoopGurlz Super 60 for the 2020 class, committed to Stanford on Sunday after making an unofficial visit to her "dream school."

"I had a gut feeling I was going to commit to Stanford," she said. "I knew by mid-day Friday that this was it."

Brink averaged 17.1 points, 10.5 rebounds, 2.7 blocks, 2.1 assists and 1.9 steals per game as a sophomore at Southridge (Beaverton, Oregon) and led her team to a second straight state title.

In June, Brink won a gold medal with USA Basketball at the FIBA U17 World Cup in Minsk, Belarus, averaging 3.6 points and 4.6 rebounds in seven games.

In August, Brink and 2021 No. 1 prospect Azzi Fudd attended Steph Curry's SC30 Select Camp. Brink's mom, Michelle Bain-Brink, was roommates with Sonya Curry, Steph Curry's mom, at Virginia Tech, and the families remain close.

"I don't feel like I got here because I know them," Brink said at the camp. "I got myself here in a way."

Brink continues to add physicality, which has elevated her game to new levels on both sides of the ball. She has superior length and mobility. Her quickness allows her to dominate in the paint on defense as a shot-blocking force. She has a face-up game on offense with enough athleticism that she's dangerous to the arc.

"I felt myself being here as I got the chance to spend time with my future teammates, coaches and see the beautiful campus," Brink said. "I just felt like I was at home."

Brink's verbal is more good news on the recruiting trail for Tara VanDerveer and Stanford. The Cardinal are expected to sign one of the top 2019 classes next month. They have verbal commitments from No. 16 Ashten Prechtel, No. 23 Fran Belibi and No. 50 Hannah Jump. The early signing period for the 2019 class opens Nov. 14.

Brink joins Jana Van Gytenbeek, the No. 37 prospect, in Stanford's 2020 class.
