Lindsey Corsaro, a McDonald's All-American who decomitted from Kentucky in April during a mass exodus from the Wildcats' program, has given a verbal commitment to UCLA.
After getting a release from the national letter of intent she signed with Kentucky, Corsaro considered Baylor, Indiana, Michigan, Texas, Tennessee, UCLA and Washington. She took official visits to Indiana, Michigan and UCLA before making her decision.
Corsaro, a 6-foot-1 guard from Roncalli High School in Indianapolis, averaged 25.3 points and 9.7 rebounds as a senior. She led Roncalli to a 24-5 record and set the school's single-season and career scoring records. She was the first McDonald's All-American in Roncalli's history.
UCLA coach Cori Close now has commitments from two top 100 recruits. Corsaro joins Allyson Rosenblum, the No. 58 prospect in the espnW HoopGurlz Top 100 and a 6-foot-3 post from Mater Dei in Santa Ana, California, in the Bruins' incoming freshman class.
