espnW 25 Power Rankings: Week 6

What a difference a month makes.

Centennial (Las Vegas) moves up to No. 3 in the espnW 25 Power Rankings for Week 6 after a convincing 70-46 win over last week's No. 2, Clovis West (Fresno, California). Centennial, which lost to the Nike Tournament of Champions champion 57-42 in December in Arizona, avenged that loss Monday at the MLK Showcase in Stockton, California.

"We know what we didn't do the last time around, and our game plan was executed today," coach Karen Weitz said. "We were aggressive from the opening tip and carried the tempo throughout the game."

Centennial's other loss this season was to No. 1 Paul VI. Centennial counts wins over St Mary's (Stockton, California), Miami Country Day (Florida), Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, Maryland), Christ the King (Middle Village, New York), Good Counsel (Olney, Maryland) and Seton Catholic (Chandler, Arizona) in addition to Clovis West.

In other words, wow, wow, wow and wow.
