espnW 25 Power Rankings: Week 15

Year:
Week:

We begin with a riddle: If Minnetonka won in Minnesota and Neumann-Goretti won in Pennsylvania, who will be crowned state champion in California? That's the biggest remaining question in the espnW 25 Power Rankings for Week 15 and for the 2015-16 season.

The twist is that it won't be St. Mary's, the team that spent the first 14 weeks as the No. 1 team in the nation. Pinewood (Los Altos Hills) pulled off the upset of the season in the regional semifinals, prevailing 72-69. Then No. 6 Miramonte knocked off Pinewood, and will play for the state title against No. 20 Chaminade Prep, which advanced on a last-second miracle shot.

Duncanville, for now, is the biggest winner. The undefeated Texas state champs move into the No. 1 spot. The bet here is they won't budge over the final two weeks.
