Sacred Heart dominates Valparaiso 56-3
VALPARAISO, Ind. -- Ose Imeokparia ran for 119 yards and three touchdowns and Sacred Heart ran over Valparaiso 56-3 on Saturday.
Imeokparia scored on runs of 2, 5 and 15 yards -- all in the first half. Nate Chavious added 10 carries for 97 yards and two touchdowns while RJ Noel was 22 of 34 for 272 yards with a touchdown pass and a 5-yard scoring run.
Valparaiso (0-2) got 113 yards rushing from Grayson Bastin, but the Crusaders quarterbacks threw three interceptions.
Sacred Heart (2-0) dominated from the start. The Pioneers scored on four drives longer than 60 yards in the first half, building a 35-0 lead at the break. Chavious ran for a 28-yard score in the fourth quarter and Ben Castellano returned a Ryan Clarke fumble 92 yards for a late touchdown.
