SAN DIEGO -- Keith Williams threw for two touchdowns and ran for another, Dallas Kessman ran for 102 yards and two scores, and Troy McClelland had a late interception to help San Diego beat Dayton 40-29 in a key Pioneer League game Saturday night.
San Diego (6-1, 4-1) scored 20 fourth-quarter points on touchdown runs by Kessman, Chris Campano and Williams.

Dayton (5-2, 3-1) then capped a 10-play, 67-yard drive with a 24-yard field goal by William Will about five minutes later.
After exchanging punts, Campano scored from a yard out and San Diego led 33-29 with 2:31 left.
On the ensuing Dayton drive, McClelland picked off a Will Bardo pass and returned it 27-yards, to the Dayton 14 and Williams added a 13-yard touchdown run.
