Western Michigan beats Miami (Ohio) 41-10
OXFORD, Ohio -- Jarvion Franklin scored three times Saturday to set a school record and Zach Terrell ran for a score and passed for another in Western Michigan's 41-10 win over Miami (Ohio).
Franklin's TD runs of 55, 4 and 5 yards bring his season total to 22 touchdowns, a single-season record for the Broncos. His 20 rushing touchdowns in nine games leads Division I FBS.
Terrell's 5-yard scoring run put Western Michigan (6-3, 4-1 Mid-American Conference) up 21-0 before the Red Hawks scored on a 19-yard pass from Andrew Hendrix to Dawan Scott and Kaleb Patterson added a 52-yard field goal.
Terrell was 18 of 23 for 217 yards, with a 5-yard TD pass to Corey Davis. Davis had seven catches for 114 yards.
Franklin gained 182 yards on 29 carries. Andrew Haldeman kicked field goals of 23 and 27 yards.
