Bowling Green dominates Ohio 49-0
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- Travis Greene had 149 yards on 22 carries and the Bowling Green defense dominated Tuesday night, a 49-0 shutout of Ohio.
The Falcons (7-3, 5-1 Mid-American) scored two touchdowns on their first three plays from scrimmage and led 35-0 at half, in a complete rout of the Bobcats (6-4, 3-3).
Bowling Green limited the Bobcats to just 50 yards of total offense and two first downs in the first half.
Greene ran for two touchdowns and averaged 6.9 yards per attempt, while Matt Johnson was 12 of 17 for 229 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.
The Falcons now share first-place in the Eastern Division with Buffalo. Regardless of next week's results, the Bowling Green-Buffalo game on Friday, Nov. 29th will decide the MAC East Division representative in the MAC Championship Game.
With the loss, the Bobcats are officially eliminated from division title contention.
