OGDEN, Utah -- Seth Lobato threw four touchdown passes and ran for another as Northern Colorado beat Weber State 42-34 on Saturday afternoon.
Lobato was 24 of 38 for 418 yards, including a 65-yard touchdown pass to Dominic Gunn. Darin McDonald had two touchdown receptions. Lobato also scored on a 1-yard run. Tromaine Dennis had two touchdowns.
Gunn finished the game with six receptions and 160 yards and McDonald had seven receptions for 109 yards for the Bears (4-6, 3-4, Big Sky).
The Bears led at halftime 28-17, but in the third quarter, only the Wildcats gained points, narrowing the score to 28-20.
Mike Hoke threw four touchdowns for Weber State (1-9, 1-6). He was 24 of 46 for 310 yards.
Xavian Johnson caught a 26-yard pass and Erik Walker caught a 22-yard pass for touchdowns. Brian Jankowski and Jordan Clemente scored touchdowns and Shaun McClain added a field goal.
