KINGSTON, R.I. -- Sean Goldrich threw for 245 yards and Chris Setian ran for a touchdown and caught another in New Hampshire's 40-20 win over Rhode Island in Colonial Athletic Association action Saturday.
Goldrich, who completed 17 of 27 passes, threw a nine-yard touchdown to Setian and ran one in from nine yards to give the Wildcats (7-2, 5-1) a 40-13 third-quarter lead.
Rhode Island (0-8, 0-5) held a 6-3 advantage in the first quarter but would not see the lead again as Setian scored on a two-yard run on New Hampshire's next possession, sparking a 23-0 run.
Setian posted 55 yards on four carries and added 25 yards on two catches. R.J. Harris led all receivers with 131 yards on eight catches. Harris leads the CAA in receiving yards per game (94.1) and touchdown catches (8).
Rhode Island's Bob Betson threw a touchdown and ran for two more but was intercepted twice.
