Cornell Big Red @ Brown Bears
Brown 21, Cornell 14
PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Brown's Jordan Reisner rushed for 193 yards to counter Cornell's 357-yard passing barrage for a 21-14 victory in an Ivy League game on Saturday.
Reisner scored two touchdowns, and Brown (4-2, 1-2) rushed for 263 yards and held the ball more than 5 minutes longer than the Big Red.
Reisner was fifth on the Bears' depth chart just two weeks ago, but a rash of injuries propelled him into the starting lineup.
Jeff Mathews was 31-of-58 passing for Cornell, but he threw three interceptions and was sacked four times. He entered the game with only three picks in 185 passes.
Cornell (3-3, 1-2) converted one first down in 13 tries on third down and was held to zero yards rushing. Kurt Ondash caught 12 passes for 147 yards and a touchdown.
Brown leads the series 33-26-1, winning the past five games and 14 of the past 17.
