CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Terrell Robinson rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown and passed for a score to lead Chattanooga to a 28-10 victory over The Citadel on Saturday.
After The Citadel led 3-0 early, the Mocs (2-3, 1-1 Southern Conference) scored 21 consecutive points to take control of the game.
Chattanooga controlled the ball, scoring on drives of 78, 82, 85 and 85 yards.
Ron Moore and Faysal Shafaat caught touchdown passes for Chattanooga, and Jacob Huesman threw a scoring pass.
Chattanooga outgained The Citadel 412 to 357 yards, held the ball for 33:41 and held the Bulldogs to 1 of 9 on third-down conversions. The Citadel turned the ball over twice -- throwing one interception and losing one of three fumbles -- to none for the Mocs.
The Bulldogs (3-2, 2-1) were coming off a tough 52-14 loss last week at N.C. State.
The Citadel's Darien Robinson rushed for 132 yards.
