NEW YORK (AP) -- Prospe Nwokocha raced 94 yards with a kickoff
return and Joh Rocholl followed with field goaals of 41 and 21
yards as Columbia tallied 13 unanswered points to overtake Fordham
23-17 Saturday night.
The game was started 65 minutes late due to a lightning storm.
The host Rams (0-3) took a 17-10 lead on James Prydatko's
57-yard run in the third quarter. Nwokocha took the ensuing kickoff
94 yards to tie the score for the Lions (1-0), who lead the series
10-4.
Rocholl then kicked a 21-yard field goal with 43 seconds left in
the third to put the Ivy Leaguers ahead 20-17. He followed with a
26-yarder with 11:25 remaining in the fourth.
