News: 27 minutes agoBell estimated Thursday that his conditioning is back to "80 to 85 percent" following last season's torn ACL, Joe Schad of The Palm Beach Post reports.
Spin: Bell underwent surgery for a clean tear of his ACL last December and isn't on the injury report for Miami's Week 1 game against the Raiders on Sunday, but the rookie wideout is still working back into game shape. While he won't be on a proverbial "pitch count" against Las Vegas, there's a chance the Dolphins use multiple receivers with some sort of rotation. Bell is listed as a starter, but he's highly unlikely to run 100 percent of the routes Sunday. He could develop into the team's No. 1 wide receiver by the end of the season.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Bell was selected by the Dolphins in the third round of April's draft. The heaviest receiver in this rookie class at 222 pounds, Bell is a perimeter, possession target who increased his production in each of his four seasons at Louisville. That includes a 72-917-6 receiving line in 11 games last season, though he did tear his ACL in December. The injury could lead to a slow start to his NFL career, but considering he's joining a Miami offense devoid of playmakers, he also has a path to pacing the team in targets as a rookie. Bell could find his way to fantasy relevance if healthy and if Malik Willis plays well, but there are enough concerns that he's only worth a late flier.
