News: 11 hours agoThe Broncos activated Coleman (ankle) from injured reserve Saturday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Spin: Coleman is still questionable for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, but his activation off IR indicates that he is on track to appear in his first contest since Week 2 against the Jaguars. With Tyler Badie (thumb) on injured reserve, Coleman will slot into the RB3 spot behind J.K. Dobbins and RJ Harvey, and Coleman should also be in the mix for return duties on kickoffs.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Coleman was selected by the Broncos in the fourth round of April's draft. He is a 220-pound back who was highly efficient during four collegiate seasons at Arizona and Washington. Coleman didn't get much pre-contact help (1.80 YBC), but he made up for it after contact (3.73 YAC ranks second in this rookie RB class) and his career 3.4 forced missed tackle rate is best in this class. Also solid as a receiver and blocker, Coleman has three-down ability, but may not get that opportunity until 2027. The rookie will begin his career behind J.K. Dobbins and RJ Harvey. Coleman should be added only if Dobbins or Harvey goes down with an injury.
