Spin: While Monday marked the first time that Dart had slid following a run throughout the Giants' first 11 practices of camp, the second-year quarterback at least appears to be more open to modifying his reckless running style. Though that approach helped him compile 487 rushing yards and nine scores in 14 games last season, it also played a part in him being checked for concussions on five different occasions. During a fan event back in May, Dart said that on third and fourth downs and near the red zone, he still expects to run through defenders in pursuit of first downs and touchdowns, but he expressed a willingness to slide in less critical situations. The 23-year-old will still carry plenty of health risk so long as running remains a key part of his skill set, but even a slight decline in his exposure to contact will help his odds of staying on the field.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Dart is a strong 2026 breakout candidate following an impressive rookie campaign in which he delivered eight top-10 fantasy weeks (tied for fifth most) despite playing the bulk of the snaps in only 12 games. Dart was solid as a passer but elite as a rusher, finishing in the top five at the position in rushing attempts, yards, TDs and carries inside the 5-yard line. Dart's aggressive playing style raises concerns about his durability, but it also provides the 23-year-old with elite fantasy upside. With a new coaching staff led by John Harbaugh and a new playcaller in Matt Nagy, as well as an improved supporting cast that includes a healthy Malik Nabers and newcomers Isaiah Likely and Darnell Mooney, Dart is best valued as a midrange QB1 with a high ceiling.
