Baylor commits reaffirm loyalty with tattoos

Two Baylor pledges have made the ultimate commitment.

ESPN 300 running back Kameron Martin and three-star cornerback Grayland Arnold have been longtime verbal commitments but were being pursued by Texas and several other programs.

So they've made what appears to be their final decision: both decided to get "BU" tattoos on their arms.

Martin debuted his new ink this weekend while visiting Waco for a Baylor fall practice. The ringleader of the Bears' No. 12 rated recruiting class has been a solid commit since July 2014, and it sure looks like he's staying put.

Arnold followed Martin's lead and shared his new tattoo on his Twitter account on Sunday night. He was still being recruited by Texas and Nebraska since choosing Baylor back in November, but Arnold announced on Sunday he's 100 percent solid with Baylor and shutting down his recruitment for good.

Relying on the word of high schoolers is never easy, but Art Briles has to be feeling confident about his guys after this display of loyalty.

For what it's worth, the tattoo-based commitment is not undefeated. Just ask Alabama linebacker Reuben Foster, who got an Auburn tattoo during his recruitment yet ultimately ended up signing with the Crimson Tide.

But Briles probably doesn't need to worry about that. The head coach looked more than happy to pose for a photo with Martin and his new ink this weekend.
